Colored Player Dots - What do they mean!?

I have observed across many videos on YouTube that people have a variety of different colored player dots on their GPS unit. What do they all mean? I know blue signifies a player, and a green signifies a friend in-game, however, I have also seen white, and pink dots on people's GPS units. What do the additional colors indicate?

Those colors can be edited to anything that you like through TruckersMP tab menu.

Blue/green are default.

I have friends as blue, and enemies(players) as red. Friends used to be orange, but when you've got traffic jams through Oxnard(yeah, when that was a thing hah), red and orange was hard to tell apart.

Yeah, Steam has been doing some pretty hinkey stuff the last couple of days...
