Help. TMP Banned for things outside of the game. Opinions on my TMP ban, how this can be fixed? How do you think I can get myself on good terms with staff?

Warning this isn't just a massive rant about me crying about getting banned, its more of me looking for help, maybe help as in how to show people that I want to change back to not being a "troll" anymore even though the ban was 50% valid.

Heres what I have to say. First i feel like saying that this entire thing started where my buddies started a little thing where we drove around in trucks that looked like swift trucks for the fun joke. Then we decided to drive around a few people and see what they think. For me, I was not trying to break any rules but anyways, TMP banned all of my entire group and perma banned me for following convoys around. I had this group that was just being annoying and trolling convoys with the name SWIFT. I had done this but known that as long as I followed the rules and didnt do anything wrong I wouldn't have gotten banned. I had even asked admins about this group I had and they replied the same. Just don't break the rules. Thats it. I never broke any rules. The group I was running was a group of trucks that we just raided convoys with. I never planned myself to break any rules, ram block or do anything like that. However some of the members in my group took our joke too far and ended up breaking rules. I stayed back and did not break rules I was just apart of the group. After half a year of us raiding convoys, those people who were being dumb and actually breaking rules got everybody in the entire group perma banned from TMP. I had also mentioned to my group members that if they break any rules, its on their own risk. You will not believe what they used as evidence on people like me, who were driving with the group and did not break IN GAME RULES.

Somebody snuck into our discord and took pictures of our discussions on trolling people and stuff like that and then TMP used that as evidence... Also they used a youtube video of our trolling to get us perma banned. Even though I get that the group was stupid and bad that we were trolling convoys, they still banned us for discord evidence and over half of the things I got banned for were completely outside of TMP. Goes to show, their staff is really stupid. The worst part is that they give me no warnings when I asked the admins about being in the group. I would have gladly stopped everything if they warned me about if we keep going, they will ban us regardless if we are breaking rules or not. Which in itself is stupid since If we werent breaking in game rules, they have no right to ban us. But even if they warned me, I would have still followed their commands and ended everything. But nope. They were too lazy to get actual evidence and punish the people in my group who were actually breaking rules and instead, they banned everybody for things completely outside of TMP possibly because they knew I was not breaking any in game rules at all. So goes to show how lazy and insensible they are.

Bonus: I made a compilation of our trolling raids of convoys and put it on youtube. However I was smart and followed their rules that you can not get banned for something older than one month old. Therefore I uploaded this video with trolling a month later. Yet they still used it as evidence against me. Funny part being I tried my best to break no rules in my personal video that I made on youtube that they had decided to use as evidence.

Heres another thing. Ladybear was a group we trolled. As a joke I put the word ladybear in my tagname to see what she would think. But she actually threatened to ban me off TMP prior to her suspension about my name having her name in it just because I was not in her group. When hundreds of other people on the server have her name of her vtc in their tag. I have a video showing ladybear's stupid behaviour, another reason how TMP staff makes no sense to me.

Another thing; In the one hour long video, at 11:32 I wait for an open spot to cut into traffic. I end up pulling out which in my opinion, i waited and waited for a open gap. Then this other dude pulls out behind me blocking the whole road almost causing a massive wreck. Guess who gets kicked? ME. Watch it for yourself. Its not fair at all.

My end argument is that they are making exeptions for me. In the way that they are banning me for things completely outside of TMP to get me banned. Plus, they wouldn't have to even get me banned and search for evidence if they just warned me in the ♥♥♥♥ing first place. If your gonna wait 5 months to do something, at least get correct ♥♥♥♥ against me that shows Im violating your rock solid pile of rules you got.

I also want you to know that this trolling group was a big joke I got caught up in which I don't want to do again because it was legit ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ people off. But my point here was the things they did to stop me makes no sense whatsoever.

I got too far with a massive joke and did not expect this to happen. I love legit trucking all the time outside of the group with my personal friends. I got too far with a joke with my friends and TMP gave me no chance to change.

Therefore me and a few of the friends are going to think about starting on building the foundations of our own MP mod. Looking for devs and networkers. So if you have a few of those types of people you know, let me know.

But the whole point of this post was to show you my situation, how I can maybe get on good terms with the admins. Tips?

Appeal your ban at TruckersMP. If that doesn't work then you have the option to go higher.

Here's how I see it: Banned by association. Should have dropped that group long ago. Pushing the rules is a justified ban imo. I've had the unfortunate position of doing similar bans(unrelated to driving games at all, 5+ years ago as well). It happens, and it's something you learn to not do in the future.

As for starting your own multiplayer mod: I hope you accomplish it. It's worth noting that at one time, the original devs of TruckersMP stated that the ETS2MP(then) mod contains more lines of code than the game itself does. It's a lot of work just getting it functional. Syncronizing everything is a real problem.

You'll probably want to use movers as the basis of other trucks/players. It's probably the least resource-intensive way to building them into the game world. Focus on getting other players to be represented in the world, by some kind of primitive shape. If you can get that far, the rest will be easy.

As much as I'd like to do this kind of project, I don't have the coding skills to do it. I know roughly what goes into making these kinds of mods/hacks on top of games that aren't MP by design.

Good luck and I hope you'll have something to present eventually. There's one other MP mod in the works right now called InfiniteTruckers or something. Not sure what their goals are.

Yeah the ban was justified but I am just not happy on how the whole situation was handled. Even though I am admitting that I got caught up too long in something. Anyways I appreciate the advice!

You're not the first person that has had trouble with this ladybear..There have always been a few tmp admins that abuse their power ,but are usually dealt with from higher ups..

After reading this rant i came to one conclusion, TruckersMP is totally correct for their decisions... I'm just joking but if we are being completely honest TruckersMP is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ for banning AJ because One they don't have the proper evidence for the ban and in the rules of the server one part of the rules anyways cleary stats ‘WITHOUT breaking any server rules’ i feel if any of the TruckersMP staff had at least one brain cell in their heads they would raise that the don't have any proper evendace for the ban and if they actually took the time and read all of the rules the 1ST RULE stats ‘being able to understand our jokes and humor. Not taking it too seriously’ and it doesn't take Albert Einstein to realise that they are joking and they are not taking this seriously, but appertanly TruckersMP staff don't have any brain cells and take every little instant like a natural disaster. Two AJ has Video evidence of him NOT breaking any of the server rules, yea he might drive recklessly but he never hit anybody and tous should not be banned. And Three Look at who is actually breaking the rules and ban them instead, because if you ban the whole group and they person that wasn't breaking the rules has video and photographic evidence that makes you look bad by basically saying “We’ll ban a whole group over little stuff and not actually looking for evidence and proof to back up their claim!” and i don't think TruckersMP will want that to be their Reputation, if TruckersMp want to be better then HIRE BETTER ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ STAFF YOU ♥♥♥♥♥!

They are correct for only one decision. Which is banning us. However, the way they banned everybody and handled the ban, is completely wrong. If they handled it correctly they probably wouldn't have to ban everybody. They would have actually told us to stop what we were doing, and i would have gladly shut everything down. Im not saying this entire group was good for trolling, but still, the moderation side of how this was handled is complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. A real good moderation team would have banned us from the beginning, But since I knew they had these flaws, and such rock solid rules, is why I was not worried going into this.

well its the way truckersMP handled the ban is what makes AJ angry and myself
