So in other words they are just a distraction and you get nothing for doing them lol
What you get is not money or Steam inventories but enjoyment of the scenery. Of course, if you don't enjoy driving around enjoying scenery and snowy slippery roads, there are better ways to earn money/XP by staying on the main map.
I am getting them anyway, one took me out onto the frozen lake, not gonna lie i pood myself a bit thinking of taking my 34 ton truck out on that haha.
I do notice one difference this year from last as I recall, it's snowing. There's even a bit of accumulation on the windshield.
Yah, WL is my happy place. The exploration is fun and there are plenty of opportunities for some good screen shots.
Enjoying it immensely.
Happy Holidays All!
Happy holidays buddy
You go and "find" the cargo that you were to deliver in the first place, after you secure the load, you then deliver it as usual.
This could also be a starting point of multiple drop-off point delivery's in the future.
I just want to do the event as quickly as possible and I don't like to "fix" other people's *ups that lost gifts somewhere from a closed trailer.
Pretty sure it is, you seem to only just pick up the package to be on ya merry way :).
Quit complaining and get to work you good for nothing north pole elf!
Your post here is duly noted and will be on the agenda tomorrow at Santa's Daily Naughty List Briefing.
Hehe
Both wrong.
First, you almost get frostbite breaking down the pallet of lost gifts and putting them in your cab or sleeper (so you don't have to break the seal on your trailer).
Next, you offload the lost presents by hand at your final destination, making a note on the invoice with an attached, itemized list, and pictures.
Then the dispatcher at the delivery point scans the shipping information and enters the data into the WL computer system.
After this, the dispatcher at the origin point of the lost presents is flagged, via the WL computer system, to arrange for the pickup of said items so they can be returned to WL.
Finally, the lost presents are repackaged and shipped, to their original destination once again.
At least that was the way it was explained to us in the WL Welcome and Familiarization Training Classes I attended back when I worked for Santa.
You can always uncouple your trailer, go pick up the presents, then hook back up and continue on your way.
But I am loving and enjoying it a lot.
The combination of portals and changes in the environment after jumping into WL certainly sparks good vibes for me while playing.
Maybe there is even more like snowflakes in the air?! Certainly there is something going on in my beloved trucks fuel tank ;)
Lol i forgot about this, that would of made pulling into someones driveway with a snowdrift either side so much easier haha, i got stuck twice.
