Logitech G923 issues?
Is anyone else having issues with their G923 since the last update? Was playing with a friend in a convoy last night and we both were having issues with our G923 wheels.

Mine was acting like it was being unplugged and plugged back in and going through the whole wheel-turn calibration thing each time. My friends wheel was having issues with phantom button presses several times and one instance of the wheel reconnecting like mine was doing.

This is not the first time we've played the game with our wheels but it is the first time that they seem to have been possessed by something while playing.
Has the update borked something up?

Did your G hub update recently? Mine did automatically a few days ago. I'm not having issues with my 920.

When a wheel does the calibration thing it is normally a power or USB issue.

Do not use a USB hub, plug directly into motherboard and if at all possible plug the power cable directly into a wall socket rather than an extension.

My G920 running fine and I let G-Hub auto update for software and firmware.

The phantom disconnect sounds like possible power supply issues. There are charts online to make sure your setup isnt reaching max wattage. If your ceiling is good, then it could be the insides giving up. Cleaning for heat retention, or already failing capacitors(known to be poor quality in all PS units, and tvs, and ... you get it).
The phantom key presses is odd. What keys, because I have had issues with hazards coming on for no reason and parking brake. both i feel connected to the adaptive cruise control. also CC in general right now feels like its buggin out. IDK.
My two cents, good sir's. GL!

No issues with mine after update.

GHub up to date.

I have an occasional disconnect for a few seconds, but, that is caused by the kitchen exhaust fan which is on the same circuit..

This used to happen to my old G27 as well..

But that is the only problem, and I know the cause.

I'll have to ask my roommate to try his G920 and see if that has the same issues as our G923s. I'm not sure when the last time drivers and software updated, but auto-updates are turned on.

No hubs for either of us. Been using the same port on the mobo as I was the last time we played and never had any of these issues. Power supply is only plugged into a surge protector, and I've removed other devices from the strip since the last time we played. We get too many brownouts here that have ruined several devices that weren't on a protector, so not using one simply isn't an option.

I hope its not giving up the ghost, my unit is less than two months old.
The phantom keys he's having are the exact same ones you have: Hazards and parking brake, both of which only showed up tonight when we were playing.

My power fluctuations never seemed to happen while the wheel was being used, but only when a delivery was done and when we were browsing for new jobs or something like that. Always when my hands weren't on the wheel at all.

The GHub is programmed by lunatics, If you're using a USB Hub try to plugging it into a different port.

Does your Surge Protector have a battery backup? If it doesnt, I will not help with brown outs. Brown outs are loss of power, while a surge is too much power. If your surge protector is just essentially another breaker for high power draw, your brownouts could have still caused electrical damage.

Yes. It's a UPS.
And for future reference, spikes and surges can accompany brownouts which is what the surge protectors are designed for; short-term, intense voltage spikes. Around here, those usually occur when power is restored after brownouts/blackouts. The brownouts occur frequently enough to warrant surge protectors, but not often enough to require a power conditioner. Literally, the only things running off of 120V in the house that aren't on surge protectors are my electric toothbrush dock, a floor lamp, and an air freshener. lol

Confirmed mine updated too a few days ago, and I also don't have any wheel problems.

1/27/2025 was the first time I had a chance to play ATS 1.53, and after attempting everything I could find in this thread, I could not get any of the buttons or pedals recognized for my Logitech G923 Steering wheel. The wheel still works just fine on Forza Horizen 5. So I don't think it is a Logitech driver issue.

Is there any news on an upcoming issue from SCS Software as to when a patch for this issue will be released?
