Has anyone notice when driving at night time, it.s dark out side but it's not dark in the mirrors? Is there a fix for this?

Yes there is 100% mine keeps changing dark to light then back to dark constantly depending what is showing in the mirror at the time.

And whats your fix to keep them consistent?
Other than waiting for SCS to change it?

What you are describing is something completely different from OP's issue, your's is "new" since 1.53 and happens when you're driving under or in something like a tunnel, fuel stations, ferries, etc,.., though in some cases I've noticed it also happening when driving on an overpass.

That is not since 1.53, but was introduced with the hotfix patch (i think i read that that fixed something with mirrors beeing to dark in tunnels or so?) 1 day after the Greece dlc (maybe it was the patch which came with it), as that did not happen before that.
And it is wuite annoying if the mirrots go full dark/bright without any fading as it was before...(sometimes even if you are just near the entrance of a tunnel etc.)

I even think that the mirrors became more dark in general with that patch...especially at night.

Edit: Wrong game.....................thought i was in the ets2 area.....

Makes no difference, it happens in both games, but the mirrors shouldn't darken at all because they reflect what's behind them, being in the shade should not change the brightness of what you see in the mirror, that's how cameras on the P setting work
, but not how human eyes work, like i've mentioned in another thread it now looks as though an ND 4 filter is applied to the mirror as soon as you drive under something.

NO not talking about mirrors get dark when you drive under or over a overpass, What's being said is when driving at night time, it.s dark out side but it's not dark in the mirrors. Example...In the Night Time go somewhere dark with no lights around like the dirt road to pick up logs. Then park on the side and turn the headlights off. It should be dark all around you. The issue is mirrors don't be dark as you can see what's behind you in complete darkness. Maybe a SCS bug.

There has been multiple reports as a bug on the SCS forums about the mirrors appearing as though they are lit up at night. This makes the mirrors appear how they would be if the truck had mirror cams but happening on the west coast mirrors.

Something you have to live with for now until SCS fixes it.

Yes you are correct but the mirrors are just messed up all around is why I mentioned the mirrors going light to dark.

Oh I don't know I am pretty sure they have people hired in SCS that can fix the issue and I am not employed by SCS. By you claiming there is nothing wrong does not make the community look good saying false information.

Technically speaking, all mirrors on ATS (or ETS2) are camera + screen, and they have automatic gain control (AGC). I often find they become brighter before midnight and goes dark 2 to 3 hours later

Your post claims to have a user fix for the issue and I'd like to know what it is.

Obviously SCS need to fix the game, but that's not what your post says.

there is no fix for this sadly but the way you answer these people make you sound like so arrogant and i never insulted you i saw the community message you're not a good moderator if you can't read critics on how you badly handle things i'll be sure to send a report email to SCS about you for power abuse and threat to perma ban when i never insulted you
