Special transport, stuck in hill, rear escort wont back up.
As title states and only got stuck because front escort decided to IMMEDIATELY go to a full stop. Using a 15spd deep reduction box and tried lots of stuff but cant get moving again.
It's to the point where every try I make, it auto saves closer and closer to the escort vehicle, my vehicle isn't moving at all, I load checkpoint and my trailer IMMEDIATELY hits escort vehicle and resulting in mission fail.
Why wont he back up??
Apparently escort drivers with... I donno, common sense can't be had, so why aren't these missions auto saved with multiple saves so we have some to choose from?

They are - every two real world minutes. Select Load and tick the 'Show autosaves' box

I had something similar happen, there were a couple of trucks on a hairpin bend that had collided and they wouldn't move, the escort car was just sitting there too doing nothing so I decided that I would try and go round them.

Anyway I ended up bumping the escort vehicle and an in game message came up that said something like "Mission has failed quit or go back to last check point?" I chose Last Cheeck Point and i reappeared back on the road just before the hairpin, trucks removed, escort vehicles in place and continued with the job.

I even caught it on video.

In addition to Diff Lock, raise your rear air suspension to get the trailer higher off the road in-case it's dragging on a high spot.

Yeah was enough ground clearance, just not enough oompf in spite of everything.
I tried diff lock and raising the whole truck (raising just the rear gives it less grip) lets it flex forward a bit more give if it grips up, but alas just wasnt any go in the engine, way too heavy for anything American apparently.

As I said, "apparently", and that's key word here because the game (to my knowledge) is made by Europeans :)
Wouldn't be playing a game called American Truck Simulator, if I didn't appreciate American trucks.

Raise lift/tag axle if you got 1, put more traction on the drive wheels
