pxn v9 steering wheel immediate issues

I recently got back into pc gaming after a several year hiatus.. i bought a lenevo legion laptop and got a decent monitor been playing mostly creative assembly games but i got into american truck simulator and i really like it so i bought pxn v9 steering and pedal assembly and was excited to try it out today.. It is not working properly at all and is in no way user friendly now the pedals wont even register in property testing.. my question is will i have these same problems if i spend double the money for a logitech or thrustmaster setup.. i mean im willing to ship it back and spend the extra cash but is it going to be an act of congress to setup for american truck simulator.. i just want to plug it in follow a few steps and freaking drive .. please someone help guide me.

i have a logitech g920 and it was plug and play once i downloaded the software for the wheel

thank you so much for your feedback that is what i needed to know.. i should of read steam reviews on the pxn v9 intstead of trusting amazon reviews.. but im shipping it back tomorrow .. thanks again

The G920 still needs to be set up using the in-game wizard. Pedal settings include pedal travel. It is the same with ThrustMaster and other brands of wheels.

Set up wheel and pedals BEFORE you do buttons.

The PXN V9 just stopped working for many users and the manufacturer hasn't fixed the issue.

My friend has the V900 and he actually had to get in touch with PXN through facebook. He did have a pedal issue.

They sent him an updated firmware and shazam...his wheel is working perfectly again.

If you do go about getting new wheel and pedals....I highly recommend that you do not get Logitech.

A lot of people have tons of issues with these sets. Some will say they don't have any problems too. I prefer to lean on the safe side and avoid anything Logitech these days. It is just not worth the potential hassle.

you need to update the firmware of the pxn v9 so the wheal will work on your pc at this link https://www.e-pxn.com/support/tools you will also download the divers for the wheal from this link https://www.e-pxn.com/support then your wheal will work like it should also i rould recomand looking for firmwareV2.35 of firmware if you want the force feedback
