Personally, I would like to see this, but of course it should be made so that those who don't want it can turn it off in Game Settings, since we all play the game in our own way.
Yes I know there are mods for weather systems and we have snow in parts of the Promods.
Some player want it "as hard as possible" (bad weather, a lot of traffic, steep grades and so on), some want to replicate real life (walk mode, lots of tedious things to do before hitting the road, and even food and bathroom needs), others play for relaxation or escape from a hard/difficult reality.
I am one of them who play for relaxation and escape. In my play world there are always nice weather (I don\t like IRL rain either), scenic roads and so on. Other players's play worlds look different.
I know that there are diffrent player here, it's just the first time i have seen someone who siad they didn't want seasons in the game. Therefore i also say if they should add it to the game, it needs to be a option so you can turn it on or off all after what you want.

For me, I certainly would like a enhanced weather system. High winds (with proper truck physics implemented), flooded roads (forcing us to take a detour or risk going through), etc would be nice addition.
Remember that Scania Truck Simulator had flooding in it and was certainly a nice addition in my humble opinion.
The fact we haven't got snow yet means we probably wont have anything like this anytime soon if ever though.
This is certainly something that mods have been doing lately. A saw a picture of a tornado posted by the devs for the upcoming Oklahoma DLC. We already have tumbleweed in the game but no wind as yet.
I have no idea how or if SCS intend to expand on weather ferocity as I suspect a lot of the younger gamer's don't like driving at night or in the rain as things exist today. Some better variation would certainly be welcome.
Or driving through city and seeing a building spewing smoke and hearing approaching sirens in the distance. Earthquakes and mudslides, Vehicles struggling in tire deep flood waters. The possibilities are essentially endless! Honestly I am not expecting it to happen because it would take a monstrous amount of work to program a lot of that in. Not to mention if they did something like fully destructive environment like seeing tornadoes rip out trees and power lines. Or smashing building flying. Just got to throw all the eggs in the mods basket for the future I suppose.
