Game refuses to start on 1.50?
Heyo, my specs are horrible since I play this on a older Lenovo laptop, has a Intel i3 and integrated graphics, 8gb of ram. Game would run just fine on 1.49 though. But after updating to 1.50 the game is unable to launch in DirectX 11, telling me its "unable to draw graphics", and when I try to launch it on OpenGL, it just simply gets stuck at a black screen, but plays the intro audio. I've deleted my config.cfg, reinstalled and verified game files, made sure all my drivers, and DirectX is up to date and it's still doing the same stuff. I'm honestly pretty stumped because I wouldn't think some basic changes to lighting and UI etc. would make my computer unable to play it out of nowhere. Every other game I've got starts up and runs just fine. Any help is greatly appreciated

Remove the TAA plugin if you used that. Otherwise you are just too far below minimum specs.
What other games do is completely meaningless btw.

I have the same issue. I can get it to work with OpenGL but it is a lost cause since it chugs at 20 fps now, so still unplayable even on lowest settings. Everything was smooth before the update.

I don't understand how it works fine with Direct X11 one day and the next day it doesn't. It's the same Direct X11 isn't it? If it's a specs issue then fine, don't let me play Nebraska, but let me still play the game that I've been running perfectly fine for the last six years.

but 8GB are cheap, suggest 16GB and bigger.

Thing is that the game ran just fine before the 1.50 update, that's confusing me. I obv don't have some crazy NASA computer but lighting and UI changes should not completely break the game and make it unplayable for me? Never used the TAA plugin or anything like that. I have a handful of mods but 99.9% sure they're not causing my grief since the game doesn't even boot up. I can get around 30-50 FPS on 1.49 using high-medium settings aslong as I'm not in a bigger city.

Have you checked if the game is running in some kind of compatibility mode?

Min specs for the game list Intel Core i5-640 last I check an I3 was not better then i5. You do not meet the Min specs of the game. I also bet you do not meet the Min video card requirement of Intel HD 630 (2GB VRAM). Since you said it only laptop.

Yeah nah it isn't, been mucking about and deleting/reinstalling stuff and seeing if certain drivers etc. just got messed up and still no luck, probs just have to go back to 1.49 for the time being until I get myself a upgrade. Suppose 1.50 did a lot more than I thought and my computer genuinely just can't run it anymore.

The point is if it ran smooth on Win7 last week why doesn't it now if the Direct X didn't change? I expected this to happen when X12 released, but if it's still running X11 then I don't get why it's suddenly broken. That it can run on OpenGL proves Windows 7 is not the issue here.

You are free to keep your security problem as long as you want. Don't complain about stuff that you can very easily fix.

If you use the TAA plugin, delete it.
The compatibility mode sets the game to run on Win7 which as has been discussed, doesn't work.

Same here, Both ATS and ETS2 take forever to load if it even load at all. And when it do load up, it crash in no time. To my SCS just kill the game for a lot of players world wide.
Anyone else wish they could ask for a refund?

Game runs fine on my end with a vanilla profile.
