Missing game executable on Linux
Hi! After the newest update, Steam keeps telling me that game executable is missing while trying to launch. Checked the files and indeed, bin folder is entirely missing, and validating files does not help. Could it be that it has been accidentally removed during update?

Workaround on Steam Deck is to use Proton:

Go to Properties > Compatibility, pick Proton 9 out of the dropdown.

Experiencing this same bug. Just updated my 2023 8GB M2 MacBook Air to Sequoia 15.3.1, before downloading OS update was experiencing the same bug. I've tried reinstalling the game plus all DLCs, still missing ".app". I played the game about 12 hours ago just fine, looks like update happened shortly after exiting the game.

For those having issues, does downgrading back to an older version make the game work again? It may be a botched update rollout for Valentines only, and redownloading an older version would bring everything back.
how do you down grade it?
Right click the game in your library, go to Properties, Betas, and select the dropdown to choose different versions. Keep in mind downgrading to a version older than your profile was last loaded may cause issues, so definitely make a manual backup before messing with it. Profiles are designed to be updated, not downgraded.
Same issue here on Linux!
Issue on mac and linux has been reported on SCS bugs forum.
Yesterday the game was working fine for me, today after the event update, not working. ETS2 working fine. LM 22.1 XIA!
Same issue here on Mac
