Crashing Near Colville Washington Every Time
Hello There

Have All updates in for American Truck Simulator, Mods should be up to date

ProMods
Frosty compatible with 1.53
and Real Companies and billboards

Anyways everytime i get near the city, bam crash to Desktop

Verify local file integrity. Right click ATS in your Steam Library >> Properties >> Installed Files >> Verify Integrity. Verifying integrity does not verify mod files. Only ensures that all files for the game are there and not corrupt.

After you verify integrity you start a new profile and do not add mods to it. Does the game work normally when going through the same area?

Not be sound rude but learning to manage mods is your responsibility. This includes searching for updates, troubleshooting and even more. If you don't want to learn to manage mods and the responsibility that comes with using them then stop using them.

Ok Will do those steps asap

Verified files already

Will start a new profile and not add any of the mods to it, and see if it still crashes or not right after dinner

System was clean installed on Christmas Morning, onto my newer M.2 Drive


I do have a Paste bin of the Game.log file

Am also running Acronis True Image on this Windows 11 Pro install

All Drivers i believe are up to date

System clean installed on Christmas

((The Profile folder in My Documents been copied from previous machines, never presented any problems til now though)

Can you reproduce it on a vanilla profile (no mods EVER in it)?

Just checked Colville with the dev cam and my mod active, no crash at my end.

Once i removed the Promods Canada mod, then the crashing stopped in that area.

I haven't put it back in yet, but i may with next update and retest it again.

Have you tried updating Promods Canada?

There should be an update for 1.53 on their webpag

ETA: Be sure that the load order is correct for Promods too

I can give it a shot, and report back as soon as possible, and go from there

Edit: Working Flawlessly now did a load from Colville to Grand Forks BC, and did a second load, and went back thru spot it always crashed at before--no crash this time either way
