Works only in Euro Truck Sim (which is very cheap now.)
My advice to OP is to just get used to it. I have driven left hand drive around GB in ETS2 and found it weirder to drive on the left side of the road than if I drove a right hand control truck.
However if you're just really intent on it, I'm not aware of any mods that change the controls in existing trucks, but there may be mods of trucks with right hand controls (like for Australian trucking, etc.). I just never looked
Truckers and car owners go to europe all the time, and are able to change easily so i doubt those that say it affects them is true.
As a brit who can easily drive with left hand drive as well as my normal driving position in ets2 ( i drive both left and right hand), its not that hard to change
basically your doing the same actions, you know, looking at the road and looking at mirrors just the same
I use Filmora video editing software, I just upload the video and reverse the picture and there you have RHD
However, the catch here is that all the advertising signs are in reverse, and it is pretty dam hard to edit the video and chop out the reverse signs and have a fluid video, but, it is possible.
Just mucking around with the software and it does look realistic, but you have to be committed........
Aussie here and was getting impatient on waiting for the Australian release which might happen sometime before I die.........lol
I have never seen anything like that (not expected to be taken seriously anyway). If they are having issues with IRL driving from playing a game then they should perhaps seriously cut back on their gaming.
Come to think of it, maybe people I see dodging around traffic in opposite lanes and running red lights IRL play too much GTAV. ;)
Not even more logical ones have happened to me, like spray-washing the windscreen instead of indicating right (because in both truck sims I have indicators on the shift paddles) or so.
Maybe with VR there may be a risk. Otherwise the surroundings are too different to cheat on your subconciousness.
I will say though, I have a Thrustmaster T248 wheel and use the RB / LB bumpers for blinkers and have hit those buttons when driving IRL when going to flip a quick blinker and end up changing my song instead
