Escort Vehicles Issues

Is anyone having a repeated issue of escort vehicles brake checking you during special transport jobs? Now that the speed limit for these jobs is 55 there more tolerable but getting brake checked by my own escorts is killing it completely

Learn to drive more careful. I completed the achievement for that before texas release, no problem. Just because you can go faster, doesn't mean you should.

Front escort vehicle often doing "brake check" if you exceeding truck indicated speed limit (not as shown by speed limit signs).

yes, during lane change maneuvers. The back escort vehicle gets caught up in traffic so the front escort comes to a complete stop. I've had to drive around them. Most of the time it says I failed and asks if I'd like to go back to a checkpoint. a couple of times I completed the route with no escort vehicles. I just chalk it up to the brain dead AI the game has seem to have let in.

Yes, that is what sometimes happens - lane change and the back vehicle gets caught sometimes when another AI interferes with them, or they just take too long, so the front stops. However I've never had to drive around them, I just inch up and eventually it loosens up and gets going. This has never been a permanent problem so much that I can't complete the delivery.

No, it is not because of your speed... These spastic escort cars are ridiculous. They wait to change lanes until the last minute and then stop to do so. They will brake check you for no reason out of nowhere. The icing on the cake is a few times they have clogged traffic up where there are cross streets and you are stopped and can not go anywhere. You have to restart from the last save point. This has long been a problem. Along with AI that thinks it needs the fast lane despite no cars ahead when you are coming up on them and other craziness. The AI engine seriously needs some work but we are updating everything else bu the basic mechanics of the game that should have been a priority very early on.
