I have the R5 Bundle and I find the torque plenty enough for me, I play ATS and F12024
Listed above is the R9 which is more than enough for most everything
The R9 will future proof your gaming if you go to the gym..........lol
Everything higher is most likely only relevant for extrem simulation enthusiasts either way......and of course would need a stable mount for the force they can produce.
I do not have the most stable surface. Mind its rock solid and designed for DD. I value portability rather than a permanent set up.
This is what I use > https://nextlevelracing.com/products/next-level-racing-wheel-stand-dd-for-direct-drive-wheels/
I like to unplug my driving stuff and play COD or Cities Skyline for EG. I think you must have to be a millionaire to have thousands spend ust on a driving sim player. Id end up needing not a gaming PC but a fleet of them and one is expensive enough thanks :)
Yeah its an online mate who is selling the R21. But maybes it will be far too much for my Wheel Base DD?
Moza R5 Base
Moza TSW Steering Wheel
Moza Multi Function Stalks
Moza SRP Pedals with clutch and brake performance kit.
I find this to be perfect for me though YMMV. If you are not doing anything other than playing ATS/ETS2 then you need nothing more than the R5. Will be a waste of money to get the R9, R12, etc.
Probably not needed but I find the R21 base a better experience over-all than the lower powered ones even though I'm running it at 60%. I think it is better to run a stronger base and lower the raw power than using 100% of a weaker base.
I've found that I end up increasing the settings the more I drive due to the slight workout at higher settings.
I do race as well and like the over-all feel of the 21.
Both.
I think the 21 is overly powerful for truck simming but I like having the option to increase the ffb if needed.
I'm sure the 16 or even the 9 would be fine. I was more worried about heat generated if running the base close to 100%. As it is now after a few hours the base is barely warm in ATS.
I do like the idea of keeping the output around 60-75%
