I use a Suzuka Wheel Elite, which I found pretty reasonable at the time (2021) about £150 I think it was, and I have used that every time I play any kind of driving simulator.
I don't play ATS or ETS2 without it. The shifter, the pedals and just the feel of having the wheel in front of me just makes this game even more enjoyable.
The reason why I say don't buy a cheap wheel, is because I done that, I was in the same boat and bought one for £60, although it was alright, it done the job, it was missing a lot, it only had 270 degree motion so it was too easy to go into full lock all the time, it didn't seem right.
I love my wheel, I also have the Logitek "heavy equipment box" thing, its just a button box really, designed for games like Farming Simulator, but I have never used it (or my wheel for that matter) with those games, but in Truck sim, and Bus Sims and the like it comes in handy having all these extra controls at my finger tips. no more reaching for the keyboard, everything in game can be done from one of these buttons...
If things don't work out, you will have better luck reselling a decent wheel, you might lose a little but you will at least be able to get something back. But trust me, you won't want to sell it..
Wheel seems good to me, not sure what the connection troubles are? I mean USB is USB right
I paid over $500 (CAD) for mine years ago (plus another $100 for the shifter). It's been solid since, so for that price it seems worth it, personally.
It's not always the case but I'd stick with either Logitech or Thrustmaster as reliability and longevity is *usually* better.
I stopped buying on Amazon a few years ago as I found most of the quality of items I got went for good or decent, to nearly always trash. So I'd be careful about spending close to $200 on Amazon for a wheel, especially an 'off-brand' one.
You will want FFB and 900 deg
I would prefer them over any budget wheel like the PXN.
With Logitech or Thrustmaster you will get a good quality wheel.
Compatibility to any kind of driving game should be guaranteed as they are very wide spread.
A used T150 (I own one) is also a good choice if you don't need a clutch.
The 2 plastic pedals are OK for ATS/ETS2.
There is also a Pro version with the better 3 pedal set.
It's out of production, so you will only get it on the used marked.

Not every game engine out there (notably UE until very recent experimental builds of UE5) supports the USB game controller interface. Hence the games running on them won't have universal PnP support and specialty game controllers from minor manufacturers can have issues connecting.
Shouldn't be any issue in ATS/ETS as they do have USB PnP. Best to disable Steam Input though.
