American Truck Simulator

American Truck Simulator

Statistiche:
Full USA map on base game?
I don't want to buy each state of USA as DLC. I want Full USA map in the base game, don't do like ETS2 first going east DLC and scandinavia DLC. So can I expect full USA on the base game??

That's why Im all for sections after initial release as DLC or expansions. Look what they did with ETS 2 and the detail is great. They then added Going East, then Scandanacia then I got an email today that an update (1.19) next week or so will expand Going East.
They are using 1.34.5 scale for ATS. I look up land mass of European countries they are tiny compared to most western states like Nevada, Colorado, Utah.
That's another knock on ETS2, I wish the cities were bigger.
ETS2 great product overall but the landscape never varies. Long term be good to have both as Europe does have cities that are works of art. Driving France is my favorite like Iowa outside the cities lol.

Another thing that needs to be in SCS, they need to add the largest truckstop in the world, the Iowa 80. I would think that would be nice to see since the game is based around trucking.
The Iowa 80 be awesome to have and Iowa is very scenic state, rolling hills, lots of small ponds, and towns.

Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa DLC hope the roads are just rutted with loose chunks of pavement, lots of brigdes just rusted to the bone. Have farms all over with cornfields have to navigate out of. it's not Audubon road build quality in the USA

Like to landmark request list for each US state and Canadain province, Mexican state.

Some other landmarks that I live by that I would like in this game. (Mostly stuff in Nebraska along I-80 because I live there.

The Archway in Kearney, NE that goes over I-80.
York Rainbow Watertower in York.
Chimney Rock.

I would love if the team came to the US and toured around the country seeing all the sights to put in ATS.
SCS got street view but to experience North America it's time total different universe. I know when ATS comes out I will mod it for sure as been good 10 years almost since last trucking game for this. Nevada I know they got landmarks in Ely, Carson City, Torpoph great hitting small towns not just big cities.

You do do not play these games at all as European Truck 2 simulator started with UK truck simulator released in 2009 and German Truck in 2010 the simulators were merged to create ETS2 base game that took from 2010 to Oct 2012 to develop and release.

It took from 1956 to 1991 to complete the original interstate system. They build the ATS world by hand and it will take time maybe 5 to 10 years To complete. Building maps with thier game engine is not 5 minute job ask map modders in ETS2.
@ed5902, I think you need to recalculate that. Or you have a strange idea of 'almost'.

I suspect he's from the future and the game is still not released for the holiday season in '16.
Wow, where have I been in those 3 years; seemed more like under 2 yrs :) (or more exact- 1yr 10months)
i remember the people screaming during how long only ETS2 took, but users got 2000 hours into ETS2 or more. Really, think Xplane and SCS should have short gun marraige. I want to see hooks put in ETS2 and ATS not just for driving trucks, but flying general avaiton planes as they are putting hooks in for bus simulator, might as we'll do it for ATS and ETS2.
Funny, I stumbled on ETS2 when it was about to be released so I wasn't the screamer :) Since I loved the 18 W0S series (minus Big City Rigs, Convoy and Extreme Trucking) and SCS :), I was so happy ATS was announced and from the beta videos it looks amazing. I play ETS2, not much, but I still play it (work has kept me from playing) and the ETS2 world is great eye candy. With their expansions and add on; looks even sweeter.

I certainly can't wait for ATS but I'm glad SCS is taking their time. The same devs from ETS2, I think we'll be in for a real treat! I still hope for DLC and expansions that lead to the whole U.S. with a ton (no pun intended), of corgo options and lively roads and cities.

Toll bridges, trucks stops...please!
