Coming from a former trucker with 400,000 safe miles across the lower 48 in all kinds of weather... I assure you, it is hardly just "driving down a highway". You have to be able to turn around and back a trailer in tight quarters, dodge idiot drivers at 65 mph, and be prepared for random lane closures and traffic obstructions at highway speed. It is hardly boring, unless you just find it too challenging, no offense of course. You either like driving games or you don't. It's that simple. But I assure you, this game is very realistic and driving a tractor-trailer is much more challenging than any other vehicle.
Just be aware that as you level up, your deliveries get more and more challenging. Less time, slower routes, etc.
Yeah I was aware that the transmissions on big rigs are no joke. glad to know the game incorporates "missions". Does the game emulate dangerous things happening on highways like stuff you mentioned and
mountain storms, falling rocks?
