What is the difference between Canadream and ProMods Canada?

Hi,

I just found that there is maps mods named ProMods Canada.
As I usually use Canadream, what is the difference between Canadream and ProMods Canada?
Are ProMods Canada an add-on to Canadream or is this a completely different map?

If ProMods Canada is a different map, between Canadream and ProMods Canada, which one do you think is better?

ProMods is completely different from Canadream.

Canadream is pretty much junk in my opinion. Haven't ran it for years. Think of Coast to Coast but only in Canada.

Promods covers only a small part of BC right now but it is a night and day difference. I would put it at or extremely close to SCS quality in terms of map design.

I can not D/L promods at all, ETS or ATS.
I can not log in, register agian as it say's my email and user name
are in use. No reply from adim.

If it says your email is in use than you need to try to login rather than register and if it says wrong password you need to click forgot password.
Same thing happened to me

The Promods login is finicky, too. I have to click into the name and password fields because if I TAB from one to the other and then hit ENTER it throws back with "username or password is incorrect". Clicking into each field, then clicking on the login button is the only way that works for me.

ProMods quality is top notch and practically on par with SCS, CanaDream is about as boring as C2C.

I think the reason Promods is so hard to download ,and sometimes login, is they only want 'heavy' users in (for a lack of a better word) that contributes to the site: This way they know who to 'weed' out if all your doing is downloading which IMHO stinks to high even but more and more sites go that route.

It's all become a giant country club like the LA mansions you escape from when moving away from CA. 🤮🔫a

Yet CanaDream is a lot easier to install and more user friendly to noobs. Better to have something more complete and a bit boring then pretty yet snobby. Sometimes it's the inside is what counts.

That's not my experience with Promods at all. I used their free download option for years without a problem. For the last few versions I've used the paid option though as I want to support them.

There is no issue downloading and installing Promods Canada. You download and install into your mods folder then arrange them in the proper order with the mods manager. There are plenty of tutorials out there that go through it step by step. It's a lot easier than assembling IKEA furniture!

Morning BIGHITTS . I have done all of the above. I tried to log in, no luck i then tried forgot
password, nothing doing. That is when i tried to regsiter again. It then tell's me e-mail already in use. I then e-mail the adim which it says to do, if any problem. I have done this quite a few time's NEVER had any kind of a reply. ( have checked spam )

That's nonsense, not being able to login is user error, not anything Promods regulates.

Have you tried going to the Promods Canada thread on the SCS forums, usually someone from Promods will answer you there. I don't know why people are looking for answers on Steam, they don't make the games, they sell them and most of the users are 15 year old smart asses.
