Background Music doesn't stop playing

The track starts with birds chirping and bugs buzzing how they would at night and would go into a rock type of song. This is played immediately through launch and continues to play through the menu and even while I'm driving around. I turned off all the volume to the game even the master volume and the music still will not stop playing. There will be a pause for about 30 seconds before the song loops again and again and will not stop and will not turn off.

Check your Steam Overlay as this is has been introduced with the new Steam Client.

I just got similar issue where the 'intro logo music' keeps repeating itself while in game. I have all settings turned off in the audio section and its still repeating after every other minute... Care to elaborate a bit on how you fixed it?

He had not a problem with the game.
He opend something up in the steamoverlay without closing it.
Since the last Steam Client update (or for longer if you used the beta client) stuff in the steam overlay gets saved per game.
So if you open a storepage, video etc. while playing the game in the overlay and dont close whatever you watched properly, it will be saved and autoplay the next time you start the game.

Persistent Audio Issue

This just started happening, out of the blue, like a day ago. I run my games with music off - menus and all. But for some reason, the menu music kicks in regularly - even when I'm driving! - despite the fact that I have ALL music-related items in Audio settings at 0 AND disabled as well.
Please help, as this is extremely annoying for me and even pushes me away from wanting to play the sim. Might sound silly but I'm just a no-music-in-my-game kinda guy. Up until this issue, I've been driving and leveling like a madman. PLEASE HELP?

Disable the Steam Overlay in Steam settings.

It started with the new version of Steam; not anything to do with the game. Steam Overlay activity is now persistent. While in-game, open the overlay and close the tab with a video or music playing.

Audio Glitch

Alrighty hive mind, I'm needing some assistance. For the last week, my game keeps playing this weird 30 second guitar and drum riff every few minutes. I can't seem to figure out what causes it or how to stop it.

In the attached screenshot, I have my current in-game audio settings. Not screenshotted is when I mute the master volume setting and still somehow hear this audio clip.

I've reverified the game files, checked sound settings, restarted my PC, pretty much everything short of uninstalling the game. Any advice would be appreciated!

With the recent Steam application update, there are now persistent tabs/windows in the Steam Overlay. While in-game, open the Steam overlay and close the tab which is playing that music.

Have you tried the following.

- open the Steam overlay while ingane
- check if you have anything open which plays music
- close that

Probleme de musique

Bonjour tous le monde, quand je suis dans le jeu, jai une grosse musique forte qui commence et après 30 secondes elle arrête et elle recommence ensuite même pendant que je suis sur la route et après même un désinstallation ca le fait. Je sais pas si vous comprenez. Merci de vouloir m'aider, mais sinon le jeu est parfait.

IN ENGLISH : Hi everyone, when i'm in the game i have a big loud music that starts and after 30 seconds it stops and then it starts again even while i'm on the road and after even an uninstall it does. I don't know if you understand. Thank you for wanting to help me, but otherwise the game is perfect.
