More bigger? About the same cost per square mile as others?

Likely because it's bigger. But i'm waiting about a month, being i have a feeling that's gonna be a performance nightmare before they have it together.

Texas is about the same size as Iberia in ETS2 area wise (or maybe bigger, I forget), and Iberia cost $17.99 as well. They both have +/- 30 cities.

Most states have been about $12 per state, Texas is a LARGE state, so its basically 1 1/2 states at $18 ... so the price range is correct.

Texas is the largest state out of the 48 states.
I agree with SCS on the price and it's well worth it.
Just be glad it isn't more.

You're almost there, and why did it take them longer to make than any other dlc?

Almost double the number of cities of the more recent DLCs and a much bigger land mass.

While it is more expensive it seems fair.

The state is the biggest state so it took them longer to make so the price increase for it. It is resonable for the size of the state.

I played it a couple hours this morning and didnt have any issues with yet. Smooth sailing for me.

Thought the price was beefy at first, but that hing is humongous! Had 100% before and now I am back at 72%. That will be weeks of exploring before I am back at 100%. So the price is fair, Texas is at least the size of two other DLC. Montana dropped me from 100% to 91 or so.

Right! someone asked during the development process if this DLC would cost more than the other states and they originally stated that it would be the same price as the others! but with inflation and the time it took to complete the project I knew it would cost more than the others, but they could've gave us a discount on release day! on the plus side... the Mexico Mod map should be more stable from here on out!
