For ETS2 and ATS: this setting is slider, what is most realistic, all the way right or middle?

When I was playing with it in the beta, I think I put the slider a bit too far, but I can't recall where I set it. I think somewhere around the left middle might be ok. I don't see a lot of trucks in real life taking off from a stop, so hard for me to gauge it right now.

In the beta it was a checkbox instead of a slider iirc. I think that check box was the slider being all the way to the right. Do not know what would be realistic. Never at truck stops long enough IRL to see rigs starting to go so like TwinShadow I cannot recall what it looks like.

Just set it to whatever feels right to you, it also depends on the truck suspension settings.

For modern trucks, I don't normally notice it. But for older style cabs, like the w900 and 389, it is far more pronounced, especially heavy. I haven't had a chance to play with it in-game yet, but I feel it would be impossible to have 1 setting that works for every truck/trailer/situation in the game.

Like most other options in ATS, there is no "Best" or "Most realistic" setting for any of them. It varies truck to truck, situation to situation. The game is not in-depth enough for any of it to be realistic.

I rather have a checkbox system because I can't tell if it's on or off same thing with the truck stability or trailer I like to make mine as realistic as possible
Sadly, no idea what it does or what slider it should be set to, but I came here to check as well. I really wish ATS had little tooltips we could enable that would tell us a brief description of what some of these obscure settings actually do without needing to do a google search.

Also I wish ATS would get DualSense support, would be amazing to have pedal like adaptive triggers and haptic feedback when driving over gravel, etc. The PS5 controller feels great to drive with.

Speaking on tool tips, they've introduced some in other places, like the Convoy menus. Would absolutely love to have that on a bunch of the oddly named adjustments we can do, like indicating which direction increases and decreases.
