Example 1 in ATS you get way more money if you drive with your own truck. Risk of damage to the vehicle is on you.
Example 2 in RL buy a house is always often cheaper than paying the rent for a landlord. Risk of damage to the house is on you.
If you decide to take out a bank loan, then remember to keep enough money to cover any driving fines or damage plus fuel and any other costs like truck upgrades or accessories.
Taking out a loan in the game is cheap to do and a loan is easier to pay off when you have a level of skills that make your income better than at the start of the game. Time spent building a bank account with a credit balance is not wasted as it gives you a cash cushion.
also, just so you know... the 389 pette and 900 kenny get the most powerful engines and the mack has the weakest piece of crap... atleast in my experience
