Police escort confused at road block

I was doing one of the huge cargo hauling missions, where you get a police escort in front of you and escort vehicle behind you. We came up to a road block and the police car got stuck in confusion. Eventually I stopped waiting and continued on the journey myself, but the game forced me back to a checkpoint because I wasn't following the police escort. After that I was able to complete the job, with limited police assistance helping to block the intersections but the escort vehicle never came back.

That area just outside Tucson is a known area to where the AI escorts get messed up.

Usually a save and reload of the same profile resolves the problem and allows the front escort to start moving again.

I'll try that next time, thanks. I don't think this one was in Tuscon, but it was somewhere close to the US Mexico border. It's probably a general issue with police escorts and road blocks.

I have this same problem now. Every time in the route Oakland (CA) - Fresno (CA) the police car stop and i cannot proceed. Its a big problem for me becouse i am trying complete the achievment of all special transport routes. If i taked the same stuck in the same point every time, i cannot complete the achievment.

Think about you can try without a police car. Here i drove for more than 300 Km and finished, just stay in the right gps path and respect the speed limit. This is insane and horrible inconsistence, but worked here for me.

What you are mentioning is a known bug that has been fixed in internal SCS builds but not yet released publicly.

So you're saying you don't actually have to follow the lead escort vehicle, and just drive the speed limit on the correct route? I'd say that's an additional bug, but I guess a good workaround until SCS fixes this.
