What is a good Steering wheel and pedals for pc game of American Truck Simulator?
I currently use the keyboard to steer and I find it hard at times to control the truck. I have been seeing that some people are using a steering wheel instead. Anyone can suggest a good wheel to use on pc?

If I were you I would avoid Logitech like the plague. <--- this is my personal opinion because of problems that have been reported here and on the SCS Forums.

There are so many issues with their wheels that is not even a joke any longer. HUGE deadzone at the top of center, not to mention they are extremely noisy. Can also feel the gears inside.

I would recommend Thrustmaster all the way. TMX/T150 for a starter wheel.

But we need to know your budget also.

ETA: I personally use the following:

Thrustmaster TX base which is fully belt driven
Thrustmaster F599XX EVO 30 Alcantara wheel rim
Thrustmaster T3PM Pedals
Thrustmaster TH8A Shifter

All this is sitting on a GT Omega Apex Wheel Stand.

Other accessories:

Derek Speare Designs FLT1 Button Box
TrackIR 5(hat clip)
TechAffliction World American Truck Shifter(no longer made)

i got myself the thrustmaster TMX wheel some months ago, its a wheel with pedals for around 200 bucks.
Its good so far for ETS/ATS games.

If a steering wheel is stretching your budget a bit, consider a controller first. I bought an Xbox 360 controller for my first upgrade from keyboard, and for $30 is was well worth it. It works well with the game, and is a vast improvement from keyboard. A Wheel is best, obviously. I now have a Logitech G920, which is probably the most common wheel I see mentioned here. I dont have problems getting it to work, but the above mention of a FFB deadzone and the feeling of the gears inside making the FFB not very smooth are very true.

For a little more money, I have had the "Fantec" for years without any problems

Thank you all for your help. To TTower, I did buy a controller now that you say that never used it believe its in a closet somewhere. I will try that for now until I can find a good set up. Thanks everyone for all your input! =)
