money = nothing in this game.
get 5k hours played.

Money is worthless. You will always have more than you're able to spend after 12 hours of playtime.

You are one of millions who have reached 1b.

I'm possibly one of the few players that lose money.
Not because of my driving, but because i buy new trucks all the time and not always trade the old one in, and often just store it in a garage.
Also don't have hired drivers, or maybe one or two, but i don't pay attention to that.

Not 100% sure about my current main ATS profile, but in my main ETS2 profile i started with 10 million and now have around 7 million, that profile is in use since 1.39 or 1.40 and played with for a couple of hours every weekend (that's a record for me).

Most I've had is 31 million. Deleted that profile and started again this time with just me and One hired driver. much better with not much money coming in.

When I got to 18 million, I let go ALL of my drivers, sold all the trucks. I am down to 7 million, and when I get to about 1, I may be hiring one driver. More interesting this way for me.

I did the same thing back when we were having all the grief with stutter and lag just before the game autosaved. I know SCS fixed that eventually, but having no drivers and only a couple of trucks, the size of the save file dropped from 3Mb to 200K and stopped the lagging instantly.

That's how I roll with my vanilla profile.

Don't know and as most others don't care. I have an ETS2 profile where I hire every driver I can get to reach the "have x garages with y profitability" or have "z drivers on highest level" Steam achievements. Once this is done I'll fire them all.

I just make bad decisions. I'll be on a delivery and decide I'm bored with the truck, cancel the job and pay the fee, trade in truck for a loss, take out bank loan to pay the difference. using bank loans to pay off other bank loans. rinse/repeat. if I didn't own the company I would fire me. fun game
