And no, there's no point of it IMO. The vanity of it would wear off anyway and I don't see any gameplay enhancements it'd provide. If I wanted to get out of a vehicle, I'd go play GTA instead.
In real life you sometimes have to G.O.A.L, Get Out And Look. Especially when backing.
There is always a point to get out of your truck and walk around it. As Arrowhead said, G.O.A.L, my dad is a truck driver and he always gets out and looks especially when he is backing up blind.
Point is, that isn't the point of the game. Y'all do realize that ETS2 and ATS are fundamentally similar, right? There will be very few game-specific features (weigh stations is one of those) between the two games. Basically, what you see in ETS2, is what you're going to get in ATS; with American trucks and map.
At the same time I feel that would get old real quick, Perhaps a box to check or uncheck for those that wants it.
