Hopefully its not damaged/defective :(
Probably made a bit more stiff as the way from not pressing it to full pressed is relativ short and that way it may prevent that people press it completely (by accident) as that may be bad in racing games etc. as a full pressed brake usually gives you less control over the car......sometimes it even happens that you come slower to the desired stop.
ie. bolted down for optimal use.
It has always been like that and it is because it is trying to stop you mashing the brake to the floor, it is quite progressive and gives you the "feel" of actually pressing a brake pedal.
There are modifications you can make to adjust the tension, travel progression etc.
These are either/both silicon tubes added to your spring or progressive springs with silicon tubes.
Just search google for Logitech Pedal modifications.
Personally for normal use I would not bother as they work fine as they are, unless you are trying for ultimate realism, then what are you doing buying a logitech wheel
If there are better wheels/pedals I am willing to check it out.
From all the reviews and sites I look at when i search for "Best Wheel" they always seem to come up as Logitech for the best in first place :(
Don't get me wrong I really do like Logitech. Everything I have is Logitech,like the wheel and pedals,shifter (which i thought was going to be bigger lol) mouse,keyboard,webcam,Heavy Equipment Bundle and Logitech Z906 5.1 Surround Sound Speaker System.
I do have the Thrustmaster T16000M FCS Flight Pack,which of course isnt Logitech,I used to have a Saitek HOTAS but didnt last very long :(
Only thing that wont be logitech is the Flight yoke ;
Honeycomb Alpha Flight Controls Yoke and Switch Panel
And;
Honeycomb Bravo Throttle Quadrant w/ Auto Pilot & Annunciator Panel
I will also be getting which is Logitech of course;
Logitech G Pro Flight Rudder Pedals
I play a lot of Different types of games like Space,Racing,Farming,Flying,Driving (Farming Simulator,ATS,ETS and SnowRunner.)
If possible I really don't want to buy like 4 different mounting things lol.
I have been looking at this but not sure if I can mount a HOTAS and Flight Yoke and Rudder to that;

I use one for my Logitech G27.
They do all sorts of mounting plates for different uses.
I did check to see if the Honeycomb Alpha flight yoke was in there compatibility list but no luck :(
They might even send a diagram so you can see if your flight yoke could be mounted.
That is, if the company supplying it cannot do it for you.
Be aware though.. they might charge you an extra £10, or even as much as £30 to drill the
holes for you.
You'd be better off just modifying it yourself. That's what I would do.
More or less everyone that sits in a cockpit/simpit has at some point, modified their rig
to varying degrees.
