steam deck controlls

hey, i have wanted to play ATS, but play games primarily on the steam deck, the controlls just dont work and i cant find out why, cursor and menues work like they are supposed to, but once im in my truck i cant move, look around or pause or anything. if i open the steam menu and it auto pauses my cursor works but no way to upause or anything. i have tried different controller layouts and none of them makes any difference. also non of the imputs in menues showes up as steam deck prompts like in ETS2, ETS2 works perfectly so cant figure out why this one doesnt work, cant find people with the same issue, have factory reset, reinstalled and tested a dozen controller layouts and enabled and disabled steam imput, noting seems to work.

update: i verified files and now cursor and menus dont work anymore either...

That is a bit little to use man . The steam deck is only use for farming and gold mining bus
driving landscaping and sea shippers games only I am sorry man.

Is this a demo version, or the fully paid version.
As the demo version does not work on steam deck apparently...

Hey, still doesnt work no, tryed verifying files but now no controlls work at all, no controller layout works.
