xbox one controller settings

Before the update the controller was a joy to use now with 1.51 settings are all over the place. to get lights on we now must press L on the Keyboard, indicators are now on DPad instead of shoulder buttons as they where and even attaching a trailer is now Dpad again instead of the of the Y button. Tried with Steam input and without but unable to reconfigure the way it was. This has ruined the game for me. I have thousands of hours on both ETS2 and ATS, practically all DLCS but I cannot play like this.

If there is a way to get the old default XBOX controller settings back please let me know because as it is, I just cannot like this.

I am really disappointed with this. Otherwise it seems a great update.

Nothing changed with the in-game controller config. But with Steam Input:

For some reason when I switched Steam input off and restarted the sim the controller was exactly the same as the Steam input settings. And yes I went through the controller setup again.

If you don't use Steam Input, that will be the case.
