Steering wheel causes game to crash
Hi,
I have an good old Saitek R440 Force Feedback wheel. Unfortunately it seems to crash ats every time I try to set it up ingame or load to map from menu (2sec freeze then shuts down and windows informs that an application has crashed). It worked just fine with ets2 so i assumed with same engine and everyting why shouldn't it work with ats which seems not to be the case.

so TL;DR anyone else with steering wheel related crashes?

Can somebody help? Will the devs implement more device support/fixes? plz

Same probleme here with the Speedlionk Drift OZ but it seems that at leas by mine it also Happens on ETS2 .. but i also found out if you just use the Windows Driver not the original speedlink one it works but wont register as "Drift OZ" and so you dont have vibartion
I also have the same issue with my Genius Twin Force Feedback F1 wheel.I updaed drivers, reinstalled them and reinstalled the game to no avail.Weird thing is, it works perfectly fine with ETS 2.And it works fine with this game on my other computer. It sounds like a game issue, since its happening with so many different wheels.

I may have figured out what the problem is. Try to run ATS in 32 Bit version. it helped for me and worked just fine

How do you run it in 32bit? When I search for that, it says it can only be run in 64bit

Boss Buck : Right click the game ans then choice "Properties" then there is the Option "Beta" and there you can click " Unsupported 32Bit version"
