ATS Headquarters
Where's your first garage going to be?

Mine's going to be Bakersfield because it's just up the road from Norman Bates' house ;)

SystemSoldierX, one of the ATS beta testers, suggested starting out in one of the north eastern Nevada cities as the roads are less challenging. His point was that even with ETS2 experience the longer trailers in ATS present a learning curve. I haven't decided for myself. I live on the east coast and do not have an attachment to any west coast cities.

I usually pick the city with lots of nearby cities within 200 miles. I hate long drives and distance is the last thing I level up. I know, most people disagree.

For me maybe Santa Cruz or San Rafael, those are the closest to my home city.

San Fran :)

That's kind of hard. I'm from Idaho and would prefer to base out somewhere near. Closest place would be somewhere in Nevada -- Winnemucca if they have it or somewhere close by would be my base, probably.

You can't have a base in Winnemucca. You'll have to choose between Elko and Reno.

Personally, I'll probably pick a Nevada base, because I like Nevada plates more than California ones. I might go Elko as I'm not a fan of Vegas, but I'm still pondering.

I was thinking of starting in San Fran, but now I'm leaning more towards Reno, cause it's more centered in the map.

Las Vegas or a town nearby.
Reason.
Strip club access.
Less regulations than in CA so I can run smuggling biz with less risk and overhead paying
off LA and Sante Fe PoPo.

Las vegas or San Fran

Elko as it between Salt Lake City and Reno with expanding map cover most interior west with day drive. California probadly hit Frenso, Bakersfield, Stockton, but avoid San Fran don't want hippie cyclists blocking the road.

Thinking about starting in Elko.

Sacramento!

Vegas because I live here. I should probably pick something more centrally located, but it's not often that your city makes it into a video game (unless you live in NY or LA). I want to see it immediately.

I will pick a place that is near Arizona so I can be centralized until more expansions come out.:steamhappy: I do know that Arizona will be a little after release.

Either LA, Reno, or Sac Town (Sacramento).
