cracked or broke off in that spot from all the stress.
Moza gives tilt function. That's cool feature for race games not trucker games. When traveling straight ahead, the steering wheel is angled to compensate/counteract the thrust angle.
Driving with the wheel pointed at your chest maybe forza... not this game.
Moza the wheel is like 300 bucks for just the wheel. I'll spend 1500 bucks on my chair herman miller ya, my back is important. Placing my hands on a plastic wheel for 300 bucks, no thanks. Moza expensive. Hori the same with more stuff. If you like blowing money go moza. If you want to save money with same experience go hori.
Like comparing a snap on tool to a matco or wiha. Not much difference
I like snap on tools, but that moza wheel isn't ganna do anything extra the hori won't do. Both good products just one is more community friendly.
Another note that moza wheel cost more then my mickey thompson BAHA mtz 35x12.50r15 tires that are almost 300 each... ya, not ganna happen moza.
I'd love to be able to use my thrustmaster t3pa pro pedals with it though, not sure if that's possible.
Most trucks probably do not have a turn radius bigger then 1080.
And if you go with that.....my fanatec base has a max of 2100° i think (the moza bases most likely too)
Then you also should know that if you modify the steering rotation you also would need to make other adjustments.
And no one talked about modified stuff, but the way they get delivered by the manufacturer.
I also could have quoted other stuff from you like you would not pay 300 for a "plastic" wheel (if complaining about stuff you should research it before) , and rather pay double the price for a "plastic" wheel (at least i would think that hori is using a lot more of that).
Lmao, also I'm waiting for the people to come tell me this isn't " mechanic truck simulator". All I said was hori gives way more radius then every other wheel and it strikes a nerve in some people ahaha!!!
I love that saying, I think it goes the truth hurts sometimes.
Thier Farm Sim equivelant of this released in December '23. It is not getting very good User-reviews and has already dropped a hundred dollars in price.
Cool. I'm glad you're enjoying it and I mean that. I just pointed out what the general reviews are and the fact there was a price drop withing months of it coming out.
Now, here is why I give a **** ...
I want one. I want one bad. It looks like a well designed well thought out wheel & box. ATM I have a decent setup, couple tablets running DashPanel mounted to a stand/cockpit with a Logitech G29. It's not the greatest but for me it's pretty sweet and functional. But i want to upgrade from the G29, and a built-in button box is just gravy. At $600 dollars Hori isn't my only choice and we're in the Direct-Drive price range.
So quality is what's going to determine if I pull the trigger on this. I want it to be good, but their other products just seem "meh" so far. And that's just my opinion, not stating it as empirical fact.
They are not currently available in New Zealand, but I can buy the Moza.
