Looks like development is now being done by "Hatreyu Gaming". Links for the truck are in the video description

There is no "Steam link" to drop .. the Haterbilt truck is not, was never, and will never, be on the Steam workshop .. I'm quite surprised these discussions about it are even allowed, with it's "grey area" status (questionable permission to actually distribute).

Viper stopped supporting the mod some time ago. Viper is happy for others to keep it up to date.

It was my understanding that "Viper" gave permission to one or two people here on Steam to "maintain" the "Viper 389" mod, and that that/those 1/2 people has ALSO since stopped maintaining the "Viper 389" .. The "Haterbilt" truck existed outside of that agreement with Viper, at the same time as the original "Viper" truck was still on Steam .. From my understanding, the "Haterbilt" truck was never "authorized" by Viper, or the subsequent "Viper Authorized" caretakers, for distribution, and why it was removed from Steam when it was tried, to be put on the Steam Workshop in the past.

Truck mods get not removed from the workshop because of modders.
SCS is taking those down as it can hurt agreements with the manufacturer.

SCS did not take it down, Steam did, at the request of the Mod Author. It was a whole big thing at the time. Discussions for/against the take down were locked/deleted, etc..

That said, to refute your assertion that "scs is taking those down" .. Why was the original Viper 389 mod NOT taken down by SCS .. AFTER .. the Haterbilt was removed?
-Why is Rezbilt and Rezworth mod trucks NOT removed?
--Answer: SCS does NOT tell Steam to remove Workshop mods, UNLESS it is a Piracy issue.

SCS/Valve will only take down truck mods due to DMCA requests
