Creating peterbilt 379 Sim Dashboard

I am excited to share my work with the community i hope yall enjoy, i created these dashboards for the peterbilt 379 to be specific but you can use it for the 389 also if you like.

I created 7 sim dashboard panels for the peterbilt, all will have digital pods with working telemetry on each. With some in game dash textures for scs trucks and modded so your panel color matchs your in game truck dash.


Pods:
Oil pressure
Oil temp
Psi
Real time
Water temp
Volts
Fuel

Switchs all animated:
Ignition - with light
Lights - brights - hazard - with light
Starter - with light
Jake's plus stage 1 and 2 - with light
Retarder 1 to 3 - with light
Beacon - with light
Wipers - with light
Windshield up and down - with light
Suspension front back
Truck wheel up - with light
Trailer wheel up - with light
Trailer diff lock - with light
Parking brake
Air lines
Axle Diff Lock

HuDs:
Stock 379 black hud with all warning lights that also activate on hud for 1k milliseconds upon turning Ignition. ( on replica designs )

Chrome trim stock 379 hud with all warning lights that also activate on hud for 1k milliseconds upon turning Ignition. (On custom designs)

(AFTER INSTALLING YOU MAY HAVE TO ADJUST THE HUD, TO CORRECT ITS POSITION USE EDIT PEN. CLICK NEAR THE HUD TO SELECT IT, USE THE ARROWS ON THE SIDE TO MAKE IT BIGGER 1 TIME, MOVE UP 1 SMALL SPACE, MAKE IT SMALL AGAIN ONE TIME. some of the huds moved out of place during upload, not sure why. All should be working now.)

each dashboard was Built from scratch.



To search designs navigate to sim dashboard website and login or create a username, once logged in click on the truck tab on the page in the middle at top, and then type in my profile name to find all my designs, holy_rhin0 (the 0 is a zero, not the alphabet o)


Install notes for new users to sim dashboard:

When you install the app, start a new design. At the bottom right, click the plus sign, then add widget. Then click community tab, then click the hour glass to search. Type in the names above to find these panels or use my username provided above.

Other important install notes: everyone has different hotkeys. So majority of the switch's you will have to change the hot key yourself. Easy. Click the edit pen, then left click the switch you need to change, then click the green symbol on the side of the app, then navigate to the hotkey down the list, and change to what your key is. Once changed, click the checkmark again to save it. be careful to not move the switch when editing hotkeys. Also, if you do end up moving a switch, you will have to increase the size of it with the small arrows on the side of the app to put it back on the correct spot.
, then decrease the size back to what it was. Or, you can just delete the design and re download and try again.

Alternate editing notes :) :
If you want a different color to your digital pods or text on dashboard, simply click the object you want to edit, click the green symbol on the side of the app, then find the color circle 🔵 🔴 of the pod or text, and click the circle to change your color. Then click the check mark at the top right to save it.

Other extra editing notes:
If you don't want both switch's coming on by hitting one of the other switchs, edit the visual setting of both switch's and set to none.

Example; both Retarder switch's stage 1 and 2 come on by hitting first switch.

Or

Both Jake Brake stage 1 and 2 come on by hitting the main jake brake switch, simply edit the jake brake stage 1 and 2 and set the visual setting to none. Then you can control them separately.


SIDE NOTES: Guys my parts list was deleted like I said. If you didn't have time to snatch a part from them with copy, you can always download a design I made and copy a part from it. I give permission.

Yes, all these dashboard in description will be shared on the sim dashboard community. The reason i did these is there is one or two panels for classic trucks on simdashboard, most are the hud area with speed and tach thats it, mine have way more information including switchs that are all animated most with lights to help you see whats activated when playing.

Guys I updated the dashboards again spent hours cutting real parts out off Google on a truck website. The new versions will all be up this weekend. I still have to edit them. I had to do this on my own as nobody has done 379 peterbilt dash parts or instrument cluster. It's almost done.

Ya guys same user name as steam and ats profile. The scuffed metal plate peterbilt is up. But it's not finished yet. Tonight after work I'll have all versions updated. They should be approved by Sunday evening latest hopefully saturday.

Update guys, The designs are up but not finished main 6 are 80% complete. Still need to do all the toggle switchs. Also, this weekend I got a wild hair up my rear, and decided to make the actual replica design layout of the 379 dash in African rosewood and Brushed metal also. For the people that want the exact layout and not my custom one. ALL designs should be 100% by the end of the week if I have the time.

Ya tim. The Brushed aluminium plate peterbilt design is 100% done just finished it today. Still have to work on the other 7. I will update the topic description when Brushed aluminium is approved so your downloading the newist version.

All designs are finished, the 2 peterbilt 379 replicas will be deleted soon and a new version will replace them that fixs the tach and speedometer with some other edits.
