I hope that SCS will eventually add real car transport trucks to the game, instead of only pulling the trailer. If they plan to add electric trucks to ETS2 (which sounds pretty interesting) it doesn't seem far fetched to think they could add auto carrier

The only manufacturer I'm aware that directly makes the auto hauler variant is Volvo, while most others are usually modified by a 3rd party. So, I'm not sure if SCS will pursue this or not really. I do know some pictures were taken of an auto hauler at a truck stop when SCS was here in Dallas, TX back in 2019 for GATS at the time. But due to the nature of them, with no visible dealerships that I can recall (some of those places that have cars for them don't seem like dealers, and more like bigger auto repair shops or something), seems very unlikely it'll happen.

eh kinda. Lots of high end cars get transported in enclosed car carriers. Multi car box truck if you will lol

So essentially what's already in the game, just enclosed?

As someone that has to work on those trucks IRL, they are built very differently to the trucks already in-game. Springs upside down, airbags mounted weird, weird hitch placement, weird tire sizes, BARELY any clearance anywhere on the truck. The only upside is that the oil/filter filters are below the frame rails IRL.

I have no issue with getting them ingame, but since they aren't built from factory like that, I don't think SCS would go through the trouble of adding them.
