Truck Stops on a dime

How can I set the braking distance so my truck doesn't stop so quickly, and I have more breaking distance? As it is now, when I tap on the brake my trucks slows to 0 in only a couple seconds. I know this must be in settings but I don't know which setting to use. Thank you.

Try both ways and see what difference it makes?
(Left should be less braking intensity.)

to the left. I run mine at 75% still a little touchy unloaded, but much easier to modulate.

Closest to real life is 50 % (all the way to the left).

Turn off
"Automatic retarder and Automatic engine brake" if you're still stopping quick!
