Used trucks are always 5

I don't get the point of the used truck dealer. All of them are always 5-star, sometimes I'll see a 4-star. All of them have about 1% to 3% of damage. I've tried the mods but none of them seem to work. I don't need to buy a new truck anymore. The price is cheaper and the difference is very minimal.

Wait for the inventory to change. I've gotten a lot of 1 star trucks on a new save I started. Including a volvo with transmission issues that only cost me 26,000$.

Star rating is random. Although they do tend to favour the 3+ stars, but this makes sense. How many trucks really get sold that are barely useable?

I've played multiple save games since this change and even in ETS2, and I've only ever seen one 3-star. It doesn't make sense that they are all practically brand new. Sure 1-star 2-star being rare makes sense, but it makes more sense for 3-star to be more common.

I wonder whether mods are interfering? Just brought up the used truck dealer in ETS2 (which I already had running) and the first page is entirely one star trucks with slightly more than half of the 13 available being five star. No two or three stars though, it has to be said. How much that varies over time I could not say as the feature doesn't interest me.

This means you have a mod enabled to add them back to the normal dealerships. All older trucks are no longer available from the dealerships in a vanilla game.
And that mod may also be affecting the quality in the used dealership.
