Hey, yeah that did it .... thanks! Too bad there wasn't a way to smooth it out ..... wow lol
"Rotate Camera (in mouse control)" = Right Shift on keyboard.
"Interior Look Forward" = Left Mouse Button.
This way I can hold shift key and freely look in any direction in the cab, as well as 'leaning out of the window' when reversing the truck. When I want to reset the camera, I left click.
That's as easy as I could make it lol
The only 'quirky' thing about it is that while you are 'looking around', the mouse no longer steers the truck. The steer wheels are locked in the position they were when the Rotate Camera key is held down. Left clicking the mouse resets the camera instantly and returns steer control at the same time.
That may or may not suit your style of play.

Installation is easy.
Then choose the best option for you.
And if all else fails, just press 1 to go back to in-cabin front forward view.
Even on keyboard it's really simple to set up camera angles:
keybind Num7 for front left view
keybind Num8 for front upwards view (to front mirror roughly)
keybind Num9 for front right view
keybind Num4 for 90 degrees left view (driver side mirror)
keybind Num5 for standard center view
keybind Num6 for 90 degrees right view (co-driver side mirror)
Play around a bit with them and see if it works for you.
