FREE ROAM CAMERA

[Quackers, L/S,RP1,RN.(U.K.)]

Hi, is there a free roam camera in ATS as there is in ETS, i've tried changing the parameters in the uset- g developer and console files in config but all to no avail. Thanks Malc.

uset g_developer "1" and uset g_flyspeed "2.048" in config.cfg works for me.

Yes and it works exactly the same as ets2.

Well as i say i've tried those parameters from ETS2 within ATS (uset_g developer and console 0 to 1) but it doesn't seem to want to play.

Have you tried pressing the 0 (zero) key after enabling it?

Guessing it was just a typo, but just to be clear - the parameters are:

user g_developer "1"
console "1"

You do not need the console "1" line to enable the free cam.
But, just a question. Not meant to be "smart", but do you remember to save the changes when you close the file? I have missed that part a few times :)

If you enable the console, you don't need to bother to mess with the config file...

Thanks guys, all is now working, set the config file to 0=1 in developer and console, saved settings and exited game, on resuming start free roam/ teleport now operational. (think it was all down to the exiting the game and then restarting that did it), Malc.

Ive reconfigured the console and when i open the console and press 0 and then enter, it says "unknown command". I did the config a few days ago, and have double check it since, no typos. The command list doesnt mention anything about freecam either when you press Tab either.

Just wondering what else i can try to get this working?

You don't need to put anything in the console, it just needs to be enabled in the config. Just press 0 while playing normally.

Okay i got it now, i did try this before but the cam was under the truck and wouldnt move, and later worked out you have to use the Num Pad arrow keys to control the camera, i was trying to use the same keys as Photo Mode which caused the truck to move as normal.
