Time scales with speed?
I'm to the point where I have enough workers to support me without driving. So I thought I'd just park with the engine off and watch as my money rolls in. But the time doesn't move as fast unless I'm driving? Any way to fix this? The faster I go the faster time goes. If I park with the engine off time crawls... ??

Quick travel between your garages for some time and you will see a speedy increase in cash :)

Nothing to fix, that is the way the game is designed. Time goes slower when you are in towns sitting and drivign slow.

I think the time in city limits is slower but out on the road time just goes as quickly whether you are stopped or on the go. Were you sat at your own garage? Maybe just park out on a lonely highway somewhere and see if the clock keeps spinning?

Hmmm that's sad. Part of the fun of the game is managing your garages and drivers. I'd like to hire about 20 workers so I don't even have to drive and I can micro-manage my garages.

I'll try what Alien147 suggested.

Alien147 is right. As long as you're in a 55mph+ zone time flies. YAY! Thanks!

That's a minor part of the game, and not even a very good one. Try one of the transportation management games instead, this is a DRIVING simulator.

Ha! Glad that worked out for you :)

Time goes by way faster when you are on the highway to compensate for the extreme lack of actual distance between two cities. You can make a 600 mile trip within 30 minutes, so they make the game time fly by to compensate. I was actually pretty disappointed with the size of the game itself. It should be much bigger.
I bet you just love sitting and staring at an ant farm.

Use your brain troll. If you don't want to drive long distance you could make shorter trips hey??

So driving coast to coast would take you ca. 1 hour 45 minutes real time (based on shortest distance ~2092 miles). It will probably take you longer as it won't always be possible to drive straight. Isn't this long enough for you?
