There are many people, really many who want to play games just for casual fun for 30min-2hours a day max and not live inside games after work like I mostly do.
So I understand both camps and believe that there is a hard time finding a solution to satisfy all.
But I would like to know a detailed official reason why such a small scale, even I folloved the game from 1st announcement more than 2 years ago, I was still surprised how small those 2 states are making it my only real complain about the game as I couldn't possibly imagine the size of it from media available prior release.
I miss the open super long American roads and the feel of freedom that comes with it in the game.
I am just waiting for a map mod team to do the same as Promods did in ETS2, I still love ATS, but it got somehow stale for me and that on just lvl12
So with the far future in mind, 1:34 scale would be best.
But that's just it. SCS shouldn't have to pander to those casual gamers who aren't as serious or enthusiastic as the dedicated simmer like you and me.
All those casual simmers have to do is only take the shorter job offers and if they cannot finish their game session in One sitting then we have an option called 'SAVE'. I don't see why we should have a dumbed down game regards smaller map scale just for them.
How so? There are most probably way more casuals than hardcore players.
