Speeding Fine in Weigh Station
Not sure if this has happened to anyone else, but I was pulling off the highway for a weigh station and I guess I got a speeding ticket because I didn't slow down fast enough to meet the 20 MPH. How can I cop even get me they're on the highway? This speeding crap has reached new levels of crap

Happens to me everytime, so now i slow up waaaayyy early. Oddly enough they said they had fixed the speeding fines element. Evidentally not.

when you drive into station it says loaded 3 mph unloaded 5 mph :longhaul:

Correction Theres is nothing wrong with it, your not supose to hit that turn off at full speed.....

.....How about not turning off into a weigh station at 55mph..........lol, If you know you gota exit, you should be somewhat slowing down after getting the the notification before you hit the weigh station turn off as it is not a ramp. Thus there is nothing wrong with it other then reckless driving.

Oncoming traffic has the right-away, you shouldnt be hitting the gas when leaving the scale to begin with.

it happen to me only when i was leaving. i hope the fix the speed sighns they are to small to read

Gosh, you're right! I shouldn't have been trying to get back up to highway speed. Where was my head? I should continue onto the highway at 20 mph... :steamfacepalm:

State police have jurdistiction everywhere.
Perhaps weigh stations have radar set up with cameras.

No, it was a cop on the road next to the weigh station.

I think the bigger issue is that there seem to be too many police being circulated into the AI traffic. And I frequently see two police travelling along together, maybe 500m apart in the flow of traffic. I'm not trying to speed around everywhere, either. Just like the rest of you, I'm sick of getting nicked when the speed limits change so frequently.

For ETS2 there aren't roving speed cameras, which is what these AI police amount to.

They do, most weigh stations ive been to has a cop along with the inspector on duty as well. some do some dont but they all have camaras.

What's the point? You gotta slow down to 3mph to cross the scale. IRL you mess up a scale and you could get a very hefty fine and lose your job.
