Launching Options
So I just bought ATS and went to launch it and it gives me several different options. It allows for "Play ATS" "Launch with DirectX" and "Launch with OpenGL" and "Launch ATS in safe mode" Which should I use?

It's not that important at all...
Never tried safe mode, but OpenGL and DirectX are similar.
Try both. One of them usually gives you a slight FPS boost (depending on your system)

You should just try the first option: Play ATS. By default it's the same as Launch with DirectX. If you encounter any problems, try OpenGL. Safe mode is when you can't launch the game in any of the regular modes.

OpenGL can give performance improvements if your card is older or has better OpenGL support. Most Windows users will be using DX (DX9, really, really old version). If you run into framerate issues try the OpenGL.

Can't remember where I read it but someone had said that if you are using an AMD card then open with DirectX and OpenGL if using Nvidia. Then again this is the interwebs and bad info is aplenty.

I have a Nvidia card and I get slightly better fps with directx. Just have to test it out yourself and see which one is right for you.

When I had my nVidia card opengl performed great. With AMD I get fps dips and stutters, so I switch to directx and everything is fine.
