With the w900 with the 370 hp engine and the 10 speed retarder wih a load with pedal to the medal i get 3.4 to 4

So you're getting MORE fuel economy with a heavy load? I don't think your math is quite right then...

I just did a light load. Pretty much the whole time the gauge said 5.8mpg. When I finished it was 640miles and 80 gallons used. So 8mpg was actual use.

For my T680..... 7.6 mpg w/ Paccar MX-13 500hp w/ Eaton Fuller 18 spd

And finally the fuel tank(modded of course from the engine) 29,058,928 gallons.
