Also, the hood is what makes the truck. It's not obselete in real life, the large hood is what sells that truck. It's harder to turn because of the longer wheel base. Just take the turns slower and you'll get used to it.
Love the W900; let's be honest, the other 2 trucks may as well be identical aside from brand names. We need more of these big rigs
For those that are complaining about views of your backend, wide turn radius, and old/ugly:
1) It's a "trucker's truck" it's not for the light-hearted. It is for those who have skills.
2) It does have a longer wheel base but it rides nice and hauls A**!
3) Beauty is in the eye of the beholder...........you had to have grown up with these "style" of trucks to understand :-)
4) When backing up, learn to use instinct and also helps to have the nice little convex mirrors below the main mirrors. ;-p
5) As we pilots say, "fly by the seat of your pants"!
This model is not obsolete, it is still in production.
It is not obsolete though, it is still being produced. This truck is based on the currently produced model.
It is not hard to drive once you get use to it, it is a truck for the real trucker. This is what I think about when you say American trucks. Not those streamlined models. I am loving this truck and will be using it for a long time.
Peterbuilt and Kenworth are both owned by Paccar... so yeah, they're pretty much identical in real life too! ;)
This is what i was waiting for with ETS2 that never came, its too easy to drive down a road, i want to have to take corners wide and wait for the AI to move out of the way
