Add Company Logo to your truck

I think it would be a good idea to be able to add your company logo onto your truck doors

That's one of the things about the game that's missing. Almost every truck you see on the road is a company truck with logos and a certain paint job. I'm sure there will be mods for it but you'd think it would be something that would be in the game by default.

It seems like it should be a simple thing for SCS to add just text to your truck door. Company name, home city, randomly generated USDOT number would be great.

or a paint package that you can use, ERM SECOND THOUGHTS. no no no no , that will cause problems ""PEN15"" comes to mind things like that and words splatterd and spelt wrong at a distance to look like something else, NAH SORRY LEAVE IT AS IS...

+1, I would bet they could implement it the same way they did the liscense plates on the WoT website, maybe with 5-10 different font styles for the company name and generic for the home city and DOT number.

Personally all I do is make sure all my trucks are painted the same way.

Only complain I kinda have is that you dont'see your own trucks on the road anywhere, ner as I can tell.

SCS could probably add such a feature to WoT in the same way they added licence plates and a custom portrait.
Add a new section that let's us import a custom logo, then add a new 'dot' for the doors, hood and/or sleeper where the custom logo can go.

Quick easy $2 DLC right there. (at least I would pay for it at that price)

Yep, this would be great! Seems odd that you pick a company logo during profile setup and then that's it. Doesn't serve any purpose at the moment. A Forza type paint package would be amazing! But just a simple decal / logo placement tool would be a great addition.

Just do a simple skin of a truck and add your own Text. Done it for mine, took a whole 5 minutes.

If someone wants to play juvenile let him, what harm does it to you? I am sure the Steam mods will make sure any screenshots posted with such "names" visible will be removed from the screenshot pages. Soon many will be able to do this anyways once they learn how to reskin. (which is not all that hard to do anyways)

Nope and you won't. Your hired drivers are just scripts running in the background, they are not actually on the road. It is the same as ETS2.

I tried to paint/make my own skin once in ETS2... apparently I have the painting skill of a two year old with a box of those fat crayons. :P

It was bad.

So here I sit hoping one day to just be able to upload a logo and attach it to my trucks.
