CB Radio & Radar

I's sure this has been brought up before in many posts. I still think in ATS that CB Radios need to be implemented along with Radar scanners. There are so many cops in this game. Not all truck drivers obey the law and drive according to the rules of the road. Why do you think there are so many back roads to avoid scales and police traps.

CB Radio, even though it is not really a Multiplay game unless you have the mod. Can be used to update truckers on upcoming police traps etc, potential accidents and traffic.

Radars can, well we all know what radar scanners are used for.

Some mechanic where a warning over the CB lessens the chance of a ticket would be cool.

Maybe CB's you can turn on and off and talk to other drivers on multiplayer mod? make it sound like a CB as well. That would be amazing. :)

No wonder we call it "complete texas" here when things are crazy or lawless :P

Getting caught with a radar scanner here would result in a serious reaction from the police afaik.
Are the police not using laser to catch speeding in the US?

I am amazed they still allow the automatic speeding boxes to be noted on GPS here. In some EU countries that is illegal and will get you in trouble. Not sure but I believe offical maps from Garmin do not have them listed for those countries.

I try and play the game to the best I can and pretend that I am in the ZONE as to speak, so what I do to try and make the game look " real " is to add an effect like CB RADIO. you can see that in my video's that I make, here is one I made just a few hours ago.

but then i want fake CB calls from evil sheriffs who bait you into a trap, like "sure man, go that way and pedal to the metal, no cops around"...

and then they pull you over, beat you up and let you rot in jail ... :D

I thought it was a bit cheeky of SCS to include CB chatter in the promotion trailer. But that's marketing for you!
