PLEASE MAKE THIS A PINNED POST

ADDING CUSTOM MUSIC TO YOUR GAME

So as many of you may (or may not) know, you can listen to your very own music on your computer...but ATS takes it to the next level by allowing us to listen to ONLINE radio stations in your big rig.

If have not tried to use your own music, or link to a ONLINE radio station you should first visit the thread from Steam located here HOW TO ADD RADIO STREAMS TO AMERICAN TRUCK SIMULATOR

THOUSANDS OF FREE MUSIC STREAMS

I really don't mean to make this such a big post, but would rather you see the content here than have to go download the file somewhere off a 3rd party site.

Take a scroll through this huge list of stations and copy your URL into the file following the steps at the top of this article. I have tested over 50 stations and they were perfectly. Not all may work as this list is the work of another website, but all the links I have tried work great.

I want my local radio station but their stream is just a java applet. I opened debug to look at the source code and it's not any kind of file format like the URLs in the .txt file.

Yup most US radio stations have moved away from free code to needing to use thier app or iheart applet to listen which is incompatible with the in game radio.

You should be able to pick up radio stations based on the city you are in.
Going to different cities means you pick up and lose stations.

Honestly it only took my about 5 minutes to split the list up into different posts. The reason I did this and IF you read my first post, I did not want this to become a link thread full of links to external websites. Sure I could have done that, and have people leave this post and be taken to another website full of ads and whatever else is out there, but having all stations available at one place where people can contribute and add any that they use was my goal.

Some people dont know where to find stations, may not be as techie as we are, figured this would help people out and allow us drivers to use stations other than the dumb ones included on the game.
