No gear number in Kenworth W900 display

When driving the new Kenworth i was baffled by the fact that there is no way seeing what gear you are in unless you have the pop up display open, which i know many of us (including myself) prefer to play without.. so why is there not a gear display? I'm sorry if i have just missed it and this is waste of time but, if anyone else thinks the same plz lets make SCS notice :D

Is there supposed to be one? I'm not familiar with the real truck, but if that doesn't have one it's probably why it's not there.

I too prefer to drive without the GPS, but since I use a H-shifter I always know what gear I am in. Or I find out when I try to drive away in 8L/H.

I didnt even think of that, that is definitely a good idea yea that might be why, ive never been to america or even seen any of these trucks in real life so i know little but yea if thats the case then ofc its ok :D

can only assume it's designed that way.. I looked for it and was suprised to not find it but I too play using the H shifter + Eaton Fuller layout, so not too bad for me.

I think it is OK - it is not missing, simply there is no gear display in real truck. I use H-shifting/18 speed - without displayed gear it is much more challenge :) :) :)

Yea its kinda hard to know what gear your in without a H-shifter and without the GPS.

I really think it is supposed to have one on the bottom of the speedometer. but it's not working...

I keep downshifting to neutral thinking there is a lower gear.

its not that hard you get the hang off it

press i hvil you drive and then ther should be a display in det middel of your screne the vil shift modes and ther shold be af mod hver the gear your in shows up

Yea, it sucks that the Kenworth W900 doesn't have a gear indictor. Sadly, that's how the truck is made in real life, mate.
