Unsurprisingly, the ETS2 section has more info than the ATS one at present, but the same principles apply as the two games are nearly identical when it comes to modding.

this doesnt really show how to start from nothing. all i have is a 3d model that i would like to turn into a mod.
Thiers alot of info on the wikki page, goto the "tutorials" area from the main page, thier is a few on how to make a model with "Blender" or use it to make a 3D model mod.
Goto downloads or documents, get all the tools, read how to use them.... its alot to learn.
